Many of our lock and case fittings are cast in our Walsall foundry, providing the best in British quality. This includes heavy duty pieces and small and light pieces with solid brass case corners, case fittings,  locks and hinges, available in brass, nickel plated and antique brass. If this is important to you, please look out for ‘Made in the UK’ label in the product description.

Hooks & Chains 

Abbey hardware is synonymous with quality. We supply hooks and chains for the equestrian, fashion and pet industries. We have a range of trigger hooks with fixed square and round eye as well as swivel hooks, snap hooks and billet hooks, used for fashion purposes. Our snap hooks allow easy removal from bags and other accessories whilst our spring hooks are commonly used on bag straps.

Our panic hooks and lead chains, with either trigger hook or Walsall hook attachments, are used for equestrian purposes. Our choke chains and circle cub chains with ring or dee attachments are predominantly used for dog collars.

Locks & Case Fittings 

When it comes to locks and case fittings, Abbey hardware provides the best quality. Our range includes tuc locks, push button locks, solid brass case corners and hinges, suitable for handbags and cases.

Much of Abbey hardware is produced in the UK.

Take our Liston Locks. These solid brass locks are made in the foundry in Walsall, using traditional casting methods and are the perfect accompaniment to any stylish briefcases or bag.

Rings, Dees and Loops

We stock a wide range of dees and loops in various shapes and depths – oblong, oval, flat cast, square, rectangular welded and unwelded options as well as three bar slides and split rings, which supply the fashion, pet and equestrian industries. Abbey hardware will guarantee to bring style and elegance to any project.

Rivets and Studs 

We have a wide range of copper rivets, bifurcated rivets, tubular and semi tubular rivets as well as solid brass rivets for a rust free product. If you want to find out more about our tubular rivets, read our guide to tubular rivets here.

As well as rivets, we supply case studs and case feet and a range of decorative studs commonly used on bags and other small leather goods.
